The goal for CR Gibbs has been to showcase elements about the restaurant that are fun, unique, special and delivered to viewers in a warm, short fifteen second format. This was the first. The focus is the fun of enjoying company around the Gibbs Fire Pit. Interesting…when we did this shoot it was cold and the wind had kicked up earlier in the day. At shoot time we were getting winds between 20 and 40 mph. Extras were holding the large Arri lights in place as the shooter managed to get the HD shot by way of a small crane moving over the front railing. To look at the commercial you’d never know what was going on behind the scenes.
Another in a sequence of commercials designed to paint a picture of what you’ll find at CR Gibbs in a fun and sexy way. For this commercial, I wanted to show one of the famous pizzas being placed into the brick pizza oven…viewed from the inside of the oven outward to the open pizza oven door. We purchased a pizza peel, mounted a Go Pro on the end pointed back toward the cook. It had to be a cool oven to protect the camera. The opening shot reveals the pizza being pushed into the oven from the point of view of the inside of the oven…the chef pushing the pizza with peel into the oven up to the burners. The pizza is lit by he warm light of the burners. A very unique way of showing how to cook a gourmet brick oven pizza.
This commercial was another in a series showcasing the fun of CR Gibbs. For this fifteen second commercial I wanted to reveal how alive the bar becomes in the afternoon for young business people. A track was laid out behind the bar. The tracking shot revealed the drinks and unique happy hour appetizers without showing the top of the bar, behind the bar or any of the faces of the engaged people enjoying Gibbs. It’s an interesting approach in a short format.
For this commercial, we wanted to show the grit and determination of young bronc riders by use of tight shots, SFX and by carrying the yellow glove theme through the spot. No voiceover until the end. Very intense way of showing what is really happening at the rodeo.
This commercial was designed to capture the extreme change a person with Glaucoma could experience and how the doctors at SEMG are experienced to handle this devastating eye disease.

In order to spread the news about the services that College Options offers, we were asked to produce a promotional/informative video that could be distributed to community groups, parents and kids. We produced this video in both English and Spanish and delivered it on DVD, Blu-ray and online.
The Bike Shop wanted an upbeat new commercial that announced the new, second-generation ownership of the store and set a new tone that was youthful, and energetic.
